Blackberry Intervention
LOL. I saw this yesterday browsing around Myspace. It’s a Blackberry Intervention video.
It is a parody on the show, “Intervention” but with David Spade. Hope you get a few laughs out of this one :]

It’s been a while since Blackberry debuted their new “Star”, the Blackberry Pearl. As many dedicated Blackberry fans did, I jumped on the bandwagon and grabbed one within a week of its release. What a great phone the Pearl has been. I must state that this is my first Blackberry I have ever owned and I’m glad I chose this as my first. There are some things I like and don’t like so far about it though. Allow me to discuss in a bit more detail.
LIKES
- I love the compact size of this jam packed phone. Many people see it and say “Oh, it looks so nice” but have no idea it’s a Blackberry and what its capable of :]
- Really like the media player which allows me to listen to some music if I like, watch some videos (I put song long snowboarding videos in for those long ski trips), and go through my pics very easily
- One of the strongest points on this phone would have to be its battery life. It’s surpassed my expectations. I use the phone an average amount a day (web browsing, some IM, texting, and some phone calls) and it can last me a good 3+ days without charging. If there are days when I dont really use it much, it goes even longer. I am very impressed
- The speaker on the Blackberry Pearl is pretty good. It does seem to get a bit scratchy if its set to a high volume and the person on the other end is a bit of a loud talker. Other then that, I would say its acceptable
DISLIKES
I would have to say I don’t really have any. I love its shape and form. All the new features it came with as well like the media player, camera (which is actually pretty good in the right light setting).
Overall, I’m very happy with mine!

I have added a bunch of user contributed wallpapers for the 8100. Check the 7100/8100 folder under User Contributions. The folder name is Dgray8.
Thanks Dgray8 over at blackberryforums for the great stuff!
Keep them coming!
From all the screenshots and images we have seen, it seems the much anticipated Blackberry 8300 aka “Daytona” is branded to AT&T. We have some unconfirmed news that T-Mobile customers can expect to see the Blackberry 8300 in very early May. Introduction price will probably be set at $250 w/ new activations.
Seems this is the perfect solution to those like me where I LOVE my Blackberry Pearl but like the advantage of a wider screen, but at the same time dont like the physical size of the 8700 (a bit bulky for me). So far, reports say the Daytona will come with the following:
Some of these *may* not end up in the 8300 as some reports are contradictary, but never the less, should be a great phone! Will you be switching to the new 8300 when it comes out? Pros/Cons? Let us know :]
Check out this cool video:

I’ve been eyeballing some ‘potential’ cars I’d like to own one day and came across the BMW 328xi Coupe. What a great looking car :]
So it inspired me to create these 2 for the 7100/8100 and 8700/8800. Check them out in the Cars folder of those BB models

I have been looking for a decent multi client IM program to use and have had little luck. I came across Jivetalk(beta) and so far, it has been amazing!
So many great features:
- Connect to AIM, Yahoo, ICQ, Jabber, Google Talk
- Multiple options for alerts while in Jivetalk/out of Jivetalk
- Couple of grouping options for your buddy list
They seem to still be open for beta so check them out!
If you are already using this, what do you think so far? I had Ramble before and was not very fond of it.
Make sure to check out the new Motorcycle sections!

I added tons more wallpapers last night to bring the total count up to 5,000 wallpapers!
Here are some of the categories I updated:
Thanks again to Nicomachan for the awesome wallpapers!
Now, for some cool mod pics. I’ve had my T-Mobile Pearl for a while now (5 months?) and I have been reading about removing the logo with a cube of sugar. I thought it would be cool to try but I don’t use sugar, let alone have sugar cubes at home! So as I’m driving to pick up lunch the other day, I realize some of the logo is chipped off, I’m assuming from normal wear and tear in my pocket. I decide to use my nail and just gently try to scrape off the logo and viola! It came right off with no scratches! Here are some pics:

Has anyone tried this and had successfull results as well?
